Energy is the Currency of Life: “Power Up Your Diet” Pt. 1

Welcome Back!

I hope you’ve had a chance to practice some of the simple, all-natural DIY ways we’ve been discussing recently to get more energy … 

Because, let’s face it, everybody needs more energy, especially as we get older …

And – as I’ve said many times – producing more real energy in your own body is super easy once you understand one fundamental thing:

Your body runs on electricity!

So, as long as you boost your body’s electrical system, increasing your own energy naturally becomes dead easy …

How?

Again, with practices, supplements, and foods that boost electrical flow directly to your body by adding those little pieces of electricity we call electrons …

Now, we’ve covered the first two in our 5-part “Energy to Burn!” series, so if you need a refresher, start with Are You Starving Your Brain and get up to speed …

This time, I want to delve a little deeper into the first one:

Electron-Rich Foods

Why?

Simply put, it’s just the way we’re made …

With our short guts and big, energy-hogging brains, human beings are designed to eat an electron-dense diet …

You see, we evolved in an environment that provided nearly-constant sources of electron-dense foods, and our surroundings themselves donated extra electrons …

  • From the Earth’s surface (grounding) and …
  • From the Sun (the photoelectric effect); however …

For most people, food is going to make up the primary way those vital “pieces of electricity,” aka electrons, are going to make it into their bodies. That’s right …

The most important source of electrons for your cells is what you eat. 

The shocking thing is the average American gets over 80% of their calories from electron-deficient foods! 

This is a MAJOR reason for our collective poor health and obesity as a society. 

Unfortunately, it’s what I call a “blind spot,” as it’s commonly ignored by supposed “food gurus” across the board. Remember …

Energy in the form of electrons is the currency of life. 

If you are constantly overdrawing your “bank account” of electrons by not regularly eating electron-dense foods, then low energy and chronic health problems are not far behind. 

When you lose electrons faster than you gain them from food or other sources, modern conditions that were rare in the past begin to happen, such as:

  • Chronic pain 
  • Sleep apnea 
  • Multiple Sclerosis 
  • Fibromyalgia 
  • Diabetes 
  • Weight Gain 
  • Chronic Fatigue 

That’s why it’s your job to catch as many electrons as possible!

All foods are broken down into electrons. Your cells use electrons to make energy.

That’s it.

So, when planning your diet, reach for electron-rich foods like: 

  • Sea vegetables such as kelp
  • Fresh foods such as fruits & vegetables

  • Beef Liver
