OK … welcome back, working “Stiffs” – pun intended!
So far, we’ve covered some of my favorite natural ways to reduce inflammation over the past few days, ie. “Anti-Inflammatory ‘Things’ 1-3”:
All work to reduce inflammation, they’re easy to do … and they’re free!
However, which of these methods should you use?
Why? And what ties them all together?
This confused me for a long time …
Plus … there’s a whole world of supplements that also reduce inflammation, right?
The answer is “yes,” but they do it on a more surface, chemical level.
And different supplements work for different types of inflammation.
What we’ve talked about over the past few days is called “Biophysics”.
When you reduce inflammation at a physics level in your body, you skip the chemical reaction and get right to donating anti-inflammatory electrons directly through movement, light, or grounding.
Supplements tend to work on a chemical level first, but underneath every chemical reaction is a physics reaction – there’s electrical charge involved.
The supplements you take are also electron donors after the chemical reaction takes place.
This is what ties together the antioxidant effect of, say, grounding with supplemental antioxidants.
Most antioxidant supplements are not that efficient at donating electrons and different antioxidants do different things.
With antioxidant supplementation, you have to know which ones to take for the condition you’re trying to help with – and there’s hundreds out there. For example:
4 Popular Antioxidant Supplements:
1. Astaxanthin is an excellent antioxidant for the skin …
2. Bilberry jam was given to British WW2 pilots because it was so good for the eyes …
3. Quercetin is an anti-inflammatory for the gut lining
4. Vitamin C is good for tissue repair …
The problem is, if you need help with your skin, eyes, gut, and tissue (per above), then you would need to take four different antioxidants every day, at the right times.
Not to mention, the vast majority of antioxidant supplements can’t get to your brain, which makes things even more difficult.
At my peak of dealing with rampant inflammation in my body, especially my brain, I was taking 36 supplements a day in addition to activities like movement, raw sunlight and grounding.
I got SO sick of this I researched for two years to figure out what the heck “tied everything together” … and I found it!
There IS a supplement that can do everything your body needs because it directly acts at a base Biophysics level, donating trillions of electrons at once.
And it can go everywhere it’s needed, reducing inflammation not just in your eyes or skin, but everywhere, all at once.
It’s medicinal properties for inflammation were first noted as far back as 1798.
We’ll talk about that one next time in “Anti-Inflammatory Things” Part 5: The Mysterious Miracle …
It’s pretty neat.
‘Til then … To Better Health, Theo
